The building was concieved for a new campus in Valladolid, Spain, where buildings are organized around a central patio, and all of them have their access on the front.

The famous architect Rafael Moneo qualifies the project by Marta Rodriguez as realistic. (…) Rafael Moneo praised the lightness of the project and its attention to the context and the site, which it can be understood ‘in continues relationship with the park’.” El Norte de Castilla newspaper.

Symbiotic relationship between architecture and nature.

Despite that all the constructions focus on the central open space, our project introduced a new atmosphere as a result of the encounter with nature.
We observed how all the buildings were giving their back to what I called the natural nature vs the central patio, the artificial nature. Our building brings a natural sensorial experience to the artificial patio.

The building creates its own atmosphere, but also creates its own public space thanks to the placement of the entrance in the heart of the construction, creating an interface between the natural slope of the site and the artificial slope of the auditorium.

The project also offers a rich sensorial experience, from the organic and natural aspects of the ground floor to the rational and industrial construction of the upper levels.
